I just started working with Axiom for some weeks and recognized that using "TransparentAlpha" as "SceneBlendType" doesn't seem to work.
Maybe my problem is similiar to the one posted in this thread:
The code I use to change the blend type is:
Material material = (Material)MaterialManager.Instance.GetByName("Material#0");
Pass pass = material.GetTechnique(0).GetPass(0);
TextureUnitState textureUnitState = pass.GetTextureUnitState(0);
pass.DepthWrite = false;
where "Material#0" is a material which uses a *.png image with alpha channel as texture unit. The same code seems to work with Ogre / Mogre, so I was wondering if there is already a fix or workaround (e.g. a different material configuration to achieve the same result etc.) for the issue?
Any help would be appreciated.
